Creating a language & its full script, including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation patterns & voice-over recording.

Expressing abstract notions through syllables, words, and pronunciation that mirror the ecosystem in which the events are taking place.

A living dialogue that translated abstraction into a workable cinematic language.

This was beyond expectations. I had an idea of what I might get, but Rhéa’s work was otherworldly.
WHY I SAID YES
This seemed like a fun project to work on—and it turned out to be so! I have been into the imaginary and fiction worlds since I was a kid, and this collaboration presented itself as the opportunity to materialise this fascination.
On top of being a linguistically highly creative project, working with Joyce has always positively surprised me.
I was given a carte blanche to play and create as I pleased.
