CHALLENGE

For a year and a half, I worked as a private adviser to the Ministry of Culture in Saudi Arabia. I produced texts culturally aligned with the end receiver, in line with Saudi Arabia’s guiding principles and aspirations for Vision 2030.
A significant challenge was to alternate tones of voice and character between the multiple parties I wrote for, including the CEO, Head of Commission, and other parties, at times during the same day.
It was a mission that required responsiveness and punctuality.

OUTCOME

Shortened decision cycles without loss of depth. Vibrant texts that resonate. Faithful and attractive depiction of Saudi culture to foreign audiences.

FEEDBACK

Thank you for capturing our vision so well with your words.

WHY I SAID YES

One of the Commission’s goals was to promote Arabic literature to the world and encourage translation into Arabic through grants. This mission resonated with me.
The Head of Commission had high ethical standards that incited me to say “yes”.
The team was professional, easy to work with.
